Hi All

Is it true that I can only upgrade to a 32-bit Vista?

I have not decide to pay for the shipping+delivery fee yet, just want to know what will I be getting.

Will MS ship both versions to upgrader?

Thank you.

Not sure what you mean here. XP Media Center Edition is a 32 bit OS. Are you asking if you can upgrade to a 64 bit version of Vista?

Will MS ship both versions to upgrader
Both versions of what? XP Media Center can be upgraded to either Vista Home Premium or Vista Ultimate (see chart). Do you mean which of these versions? As for which of these you'll get through the Express upgrade program, you'll probably need to check with the manufacturer or maybe you can find out here

Sorry for not explaining clearly.
What I actually meant is, does MS ship both versions of 32-bit and 64-bit to upgraders?

If I have a 64-bit capable CPU, isn't it a waste to run the 32-bit version of Vista.

Also I have check the manufacturer website, nothing was mentioned other than that I am eligible to Vista Home Premium.

Thanks.

No, XP Media Center is a 32 bit OS. Any upgrade path will be to another 32 bit OS. (Just as there was never any upgrade path from previous versions of Windows to XP64)
