I am using Crystal 8.5. I have a file layout that has to be sent to a text file. I am able to create the report in Crystal Reports but when I export it to text file it cuts off about half way through the record. Any help would be appriecated.

Thanks
Marc

There are numerous text type exports available, including the text type, csv and tab delimited.

If you have fields without the can grow option set, they may get cut off, and you might try applying the service pack as it often addresses export issues:

If that fails, please be specific about the field type and in what section the cutoff occurs.

I downloaded the service pack. It allowed me to choose the CPI when exporting to text and now it works. Thanks for help.

The other option is to install a Printer (just the driver is needed) that supports much wider pages.
