I have a table that I have created that needs to be exported as a text file. In my macro that creates this table and then eventually exports this file, I am using the command "Output to" and outputting to a *.txt file. Problem is that Access is insisting on putting in the field name and pipes and dashes around each record. The place where i want to upload the data to wont accept this. Anyone know how to get rid of these and leave me with just pure data?

The easiest way is to export the table outside of the macro first. step through the wizard and when you have got your file "just so" click on advanced and save the export specification. Then all you need to do is include to export specification as a parameter of the export in the macro and all should be well!
