Exporting to a template - modification

Every month I have to export a balance sheet template from Quickbooks to excel. By template I mean the catorgories of assets and liabilities but no numbers. I have the numbers in excel. When the catagories change I am constantly adding a deleting rows in my excel sheet. Is there a better way?
