Hi all,

I am using Primiere 6.5. I have a 3 minutes timeline in which I exported to mpeg (vcd format) without any problems. The file came out to be 20mb. I needed something smaller so that I can post in on the web in MOV format. I was trying to do the SAVE AS option to Quicktime format but I am not sure what kind of configuration that would give me a decent compression into MOV in a file size of around 3mb (that's 3mb of mov file for around 3 minutes). If it is not possible, does any know of any free software that can do the trick of compression my 20mb mepg-1 file into a ~3mb file?

The reason for the 3mb is that I downloaded Sorenson Squeezer and were able to compress my 20mb int 3mb-mov with very good quality.

Any help apperciated. Thx,

bowbowleung,

When you're preparing to export your movie, notice those buttons along the right side: Load/Save ?

I actually just noticed them last week for the first time and I've been using Premiere for a couple years!

They reveal a bunch of preset profiles. Check 'em out!

Cheers,
