Ok, so i know this is a really simple question, and i think i know the answer, but i want to be sure before i do this on our production database!...If I export the data from a table in SQL Server, does the original data remain in the table and SQL just creates a copy of the data in Excel (or whatever i export to) or does it literally rip the data from the table, leaving it empty?

TIA...

This was supposed to be the future.....Where is my JetPack?!

It will leave the data intact. It will only select the data.

- Database performance looks fine, it must be the Network!
