I have a 35min video that i'm trying to create an SCVD with. I use the Adobe MPEG-2 Encoder export utility, select SVCD, then export. Unfortunately when I do so the entire movie has a blue fade to it. All of the colors are completely messed up. How can I fix this?? I need it to be able to be played on a DVD player, but don't have a DVD burner, so I have chosen SVCD as my format. Thanks to anyone who can help me.

Exporting SVCD with Premiere 6.5

Save it as a regular (or compressed) AVI and use TMPGenc to convert it to SVCD.

...or get the bbMPEG encoder plugin ( for Premiere and use it to export to SVCD. It'll save you having to export and convert in separate steps but it won't save you any time.
