exporting slices to dw

I have made an interface in fireworks with slices and have exported it with the slices. Do I have to keep every new page using that interface with all those slices for each page?

In the FW interface I have a nav bar which each button has a rollover and is link to the appropriate page. when it is exporting it creates a lot of sliced images which cause a lot of images files.

You only need to keep the ones that are direcly related to your rollover buttons, or specific images you want. Fireworks will create images for the white space(or any color pertaining to back ground) along with the images you want to keep. You can delete those.
