Exporting Public Contact Folder in 5.5

I am attempting to Export the "Public" contacts folder in Exchange 5.5 to something like Excel.
It seems only able to Export the "Public" folder to a "backup.pst" file. If Excel is selected as the destination source I am only able to see my own Folders and not the Public folder as required.

Would appreciate how to do this. If it is a setting on the Server end then what steps are required to perform this step.

No setting for that on the server that I know of, looks like a two step process. Either export to pst then to excel or copy to mailbox or pst then excel...

The simplest way seemed to be, copy the contacts to my local mailbox then export to an Excel spreadsheet.......

Strange setting in Excel....not a security thing cos I have been on the server and tried setting etc..
