Exporting MSAccess 97 tables to VFP 8 1

Does anyone have a good method to export tables from Access 97 into a database container in VisualFoxPro 8 that will preserve long table and field names and field formats?

I've got some tables with 140 fields that are a bit difficult to handle the export with manually. There are quite a few tables, all with differing field structures.

In order to support long fieldnames, I'm assuming that it is necessary to put them into a DBC.
