Exporting Linux Display in Windows

I wanted to know how I can export a Linux display into windows?

I take your question to mean, can you have a linux machine's remote desktop in windows? If so, the answer is yes.

A really good application for this is called FreeNX. It is similar to VNC, which is another option, but uses SSH by default, which is a lot more secure. The NX server will run on the Linux host and the NX client will run under windows. The program is free and available for both platforms.

Well I am looking for is to be able to export a terminal window from the linux into windows using something like putty. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Googling PuTTY WinSCP provides links to this well tried solution.

WinSCP is a secure FTP program, so that you can transfer files to your server remotely. integrated with PuTTY which enables a linux terminal on your windows machine via a secure connection.

I use Putty & Xming regularly to admin an in house database/web server.
works perfectly (well as well as anything on doze can be expected to )

You can remote your whole linux display on windows...
