Exporting Info from Excel to MS Project by Macro and/or Link

I need to export information from Excel to MS Project. When one of our admin team enters the completed date for a tender, I need a link or macro to enter 100% complete in MS Project %Complete column. The linking of the spreadsheet to the Project file is easy but I can't figure out how to do the bit above (due to my inadequate VB skills)
If anyone knows how to do this, or thinks they may be able to help, I can send part of the spreadsheet and part of the MS Project file to you.
