Exporting in Excel

Hi,

I am very new to this,but would appreaciate it if someone can tell me how to export a report in Actuate5/Siebel 7 to an excel spreadsheet. I do see an export button on Actuate however it is grayed out.
Please help!

Cogniview ( has a great new tool tor that.
It automatically extracts the data from ANY ascii report into excel.
