First off, I've used Crystal for years, but never had the pleasure to work on enterprise until now and I'm completely new to this.

There are users who said that when they run a report and try to export it through the web to excel, they don't get the option to select the data with or without the formatting like they do in crystal on their pcs. The result is the information in excel, but all the data in the cells are locked.

Can you tell me where I can go to fix this or at least point me in the right direction.

With any technical post, about any software, post your software version, this is especially true with Crystal.

CE is not Crystal Reports, and does not have the same exporting possibilities. Also note they can't export to a report definition file, to ODBC, etc...

We are currently using Crystal Reports 10 and Crystal Enterprise 10.

Also, what do you mean by "can't export to a report definition, to ODBC, etc?"

I mean that CE does NOT export to those file formats, but CR does.

They have different capabilities, and CR XI has more flexibility then CR 8, etc.
