Exporting anlpha chanel as psd to import in dir5.5

I am having trouble getting director to read my alph chanels as peramater. I am creating a loop in ae for its versatilaty of effects. I import the files with an alph already established in ps. This works great I then add my behaviors to the loop and export as image sequence-psd. This also works great when I put it in director it shows the full size of the copm windo as aposed to just the unmasked aria. Any I deas on what I can do on the AE side.
