Exporting Access text to Excel

I have an Access Database, and I would like to export the text to Excel. When I export the database to Excel, the text are formatted with ' in front of the text. So when I try to format the text, it does not let me. So the text looks like this, 'apple. Is there away to get rid of '. Thanks for your help.

Use the Edit => Replace function.
Hihglight entire column, choose Edit => Replace and in the Find what field enter ', in the replace with field leave blank, then select Replace All.

Do a find and replace. Find ' and replace with nothing.
