When export to word format crystal report puts the exported report into little text area boxes. This doesn't allow users of the word document to edit freely.

Is there a work around for this ?

Which version of Crystal? And do you have the latest patches and dlls? Last year, there was a change in Crystal 8.5 that improved it a great deal. If your export-choice says Excel Extended rather than MS Excel 97, then an update should fix it.

I use CR 10 and exporting to WORD not excel
