export with gzip - using multiple dmp files

I need to run a full export using gzip, which I already have set up and run. Total size is 930MB which is too big to burn on a single cd.

Does anyone have an example of an export that not only uses gzip but also uses the FILE and FILESIZE parameters to split the dmp file into smaller files ?

Since the dmp file is first run thru a pipe file which is specified as the file on the FILE parameter, I can't figure out how to specify multiple file names.
