Export to XML

Hi.
I am looking to use Business Objects Enterprise either with Business Objects (Desktop or Web Intelligence) or Crystal Reports as the development tool. Does Business Objects Enterprise support export of report output to XML ?

For background I want to export via XML to integrate into an intranet the output from a scheduled report.

Crystal supports export to XML, but not through BOE XI r1 or r2. XML export is supported in BOE XI 3.1, though. WebI does not support XML export in any version. I'm not sure about DeskI because we don't use it.

So, if WebI doesn't do it and you don't know about DeskI, how do you know it does it.

I haven't seen anything in R3.1 that supports XML as an output format. I do believe there is something you can do with the SDK, but I don't recall seeing anything in the standard interface.

I went to my 3.1 test environment, opened a Crystal instance and clicked on the Export button - XML was an option. I then did the same thing for Webi and there was no XML option.

My mistake.

I NEVER think of Crystal when people talk about BO Enterprise. I've been doing this way too long. I've been working with the classic BO products for over 12 years. Currently I have 2000 users with over 130 universes and thousands of reports. Still not one Crystal report in sight.
