Export to Tape - not working at all

hi all,

Please someone help me if you can.

I can capture my stuff in Premiere 6 from my Panasonic NV-DS30B cam.

But, when i come to export it to tape, it just won't work.

if i export a CLIP, the camera will start to RECORD but nothing gets transferred - if i try and export the TIMELINE then the camera starts again but nothing ever plays in Premiere and the cam stops recording then, and so i get nothing again.

anyone have this problem?

I don't now your cam but i experienced that some cameras have something like a RECORD mode. ( in fact, can you get your movie
on your cammera LCD screen?)

My cam is a Panasonic NV-DS30B, quite capable of DV IN and OUT - i get nothing on the screen except the word RECORD - but all that gets recorded is NOTHING.

Anyway, given up on exporting in Premiere - i now use Pinnacle Studio 7 for exporting back to tape as this works perfectly, without even the slightest hitch.
