Hello all,

I was wondering if this was at all possible. At my company we use a database I designed to order our parts and print out the official requests which are then sent to out supply managers to be purchased. Now our supply managers have their "order form" on a website. Problem is you can only order one item at a time.

Is there a way I could export the information from a form I created right onto their web page by clicking a button or something???

I think this may be outside the realm of possibility with Access, or require ALOT of code that I dont know. But I thought I would run it by you guys and see what you thought.

Thanks!

This is entirely possible to do in Access, through VBA and the ServerXMLHTTP object model.

Is the order form in question on a publicly accessible web page, or is this an intranet page? If the former, and if you could post the link to the page, I might be able to help you.

It's a password protected site on the internet. I'm not familiar at all with the XMLHTTP object. I will do some reading on it though. I do understand VBA, I just have a limited vocabulary in it.

Basically the site has a few fields for things like part numbers, item name, tracking number, remarks, source of supply, etc.

Perhaps you could give me some pointers in the right direction though, and thanks so much for you help! :)

Well, without more information I really can't help you on the specifics for your situation. However, if you wish to find material on the XMLHTTP object, you can go to and do a search on XMLHTTP. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
