Okay this is the situation: I have windows xp and a brand new computer that i loaded Premiere on. I did my video blah blah blah and everything looked and acted great on the work monitor but when i go to file -export timeline - print to video (fullscreen) all I get is a black screen but my audio is playing. The Caper in all this is that when I do File - Export Clip - Print to video it will play any and all of my clips video and sound. This is a problem because I want to play this whole video (not just clips) on a projector screen using a computer projector at my youth group. Any help would be much appreciated. My premiere on my Windows ME computer is fine no problems so whats up with this? VERY FRUSTRATING.

When you say you only get a black screen do you mean on the monitor or on the output device? Black screen is normal on the monitor if "Play Video on Desktop" is unchecked. What are you recording to?

When I print to video just to even look at it in a full screen version all I get is a black screen and my audio playing in the background. I have "play video on desktop" checked. I have a Geforce 4 video card maybe it is a problem with that. Get this a whole new twist to the equation: I hooked up my old comp (Gateway) to my new dell monitor and was able to see everything fine (video and audio) without problem but when I hooked up new Dell tower and old gateway monitor I heard audio but no picture just a black screen. I went through and compared every setting (in premiere)from the old comp with premiere on it to the new comp with premiere on it and I don't see any difference in the settings. I mean it is not just even stuff I imported that I can't see it is even the countdown leader and bar tone things that i can hear but not see. This just baffles me and that is why I am looking for help. I can't be the only person who has had this problem.

Volkoff007 -
I haven't even got to the point of exporting out throught the comp projector yet (that will probably be a whole nother mess) I am just watching it on the monitor or should I say trying to view it on my monitor (in fullscreen). To answer your second question I would like to eventually get it recorded to dvd or video. I have a dvd burner on my new Dell computer.
