Export Table Error

I have not seen SyBase in years.
Based on the error, it seems that you are having a connection problem. Perhaps timing out on a login / password, or perhaps a protocol issue. If using ODBC, check the setup -- passwords, connection type, etc. Is the SyBase server running Unix?
If you can not get the "direct" approach to work, you may consider a work-around solution. Export to a text or spreadsheet, and then import the exported file.
