I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask this question,

But how do I export a passthrough query to excel?

I keep getting the following error:

Operation is not supported for this type of object.

Code:

DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet acExport, 7, tmp_qryName(i), str_ExportFileName

Don't know whether you tried TOOLS/OFFICE LINKS/ANALYZE IT WITH MS Excel. This will take the output and write it to an XLS sheet. You should save as to your xcel documents.

I want this as an automated process. That works - Just how do I do that in VBA?

(I'll probably figure that out before someone posts, but please leave suggestions reguardless)

Have you tried the DoCmd.OutputTo method ?

Hope This Helps, PH.

Is there a way to output multiple queries to the same file on separate sheets via that method? I couldn't figure it out.
