Export of report does not work under win2000

Hi
I have an applications designed in VB6 and Crystal reports 8. Recently i have shifted my development platform from NT WS to win 2000, And now export option from report window in my application doesnot work. All the dialoges for export open but the file saved is always of 0 bytes. I have tried exporting to word,textfiles and excel files. But all generate empty files. The same program under win 98 or Nt works fine. Another thing when i export from within crystal report designer it works (When Designing reports).
Does any body have any suggestions.
