My Access97 database have over 1300 embedded images. It is fast approaching the 1gb size limit. I need to find a way to export the images from Access and save them in a folder in my HD. I can do it individually, but is tediously time consumming. Is there a way to automate this process?

TIA

Perhaps what you should do first is to try and compact the base also if the base is one base that split this into a front and a backend base.

Also you might want to concidder an upsizing to SQL if your base again is approching the 1GB limit.

Thanks for replying,
the database is already split and compact already. It is the backend that is approaching the 1gb size. Doesn't the 1gb size limit apply to the backend as well? Does anyone know??? Is it possible to export the images out from Access?

Thanks
