I'm using a font called EngraversGothic BT in my Crystal Reports. When I preview and print the Crystal Reports, the text looks fine. But when I export to a PDF format, the spacing between the characters is either to tight or too far apart. The font appears to be EngraversGothic BT, but why is the character spacing off?

Thanks in advance!

The spacing between the characters is inconsistently too tight or too far apart, i.e. the letters may appear crunched up or even overlapping at the end of a particular word but not at the beginning.

If you're doing this from the same machince that it's designed in, meaning that it has the same font installed, it should be fairly close, if not, then it may be that the machine running it is substituting a font.

Perhaps you can change fonts? It generally looks very close to me.
