Export Budget and MEM BAD POINTER ERROR

I have a client on Great Plains v7.5 that when one user exports a budget, the screen seems to freeze, and they get a Smart Heap Library MEM_BAD_POINTER error. The export seems to hang forever although does populate into an excel spreadsheet.

Any ideas?

This happens to us once in a while, so I just make sure everything else including Excel is closed and don't do anything else while the budget is exporting.

Doesn't that error also have something to do with the data dictionary? Also you could make sure they have the latest servicepack.
