explorer views in XP

in windows 2000 the windows explorer have a file so i can view a small preview of images if i select one or a small play bar if i select a sound file someting like this:

| archive.jpg date time etc
| archive.mp3 date time etc
--|---- | archive.xxx xxx xxx xx

|

i can find that view in winXP i think its very usefull becasue i dont want the preview of images XP have or got to open the media player just for knew that one sound file its´nt waht i lookin for....
or some know a program to do something like that...??

I think this might have been scrubbed by SP1 for security reasons. A bit of information here.
