explorer.exe 0xc0000005

When I start my system UP I get the message from doctor watson saying that there was an access violation with my Explorer.exe on address 0xc0000005 and the program will be closed.

Then all my programs are closed and I can't do anything with my PC.

Any ideas? Do I have to reinstall my windows nt?
I have tons of data (most backed up) on this PC but it is going to be a pain to restore everything.
