Explain Help Desk PLEASE!!!

I am currently looking for a new job in my area and have found some prospects. Unfortunatly I do not know what some terms are (I have only been working on PCs for a short period). Please explain the following:

Helpdesk
Helpdesk Level 1
" " Level 2
" " Level 3

Any help would be really welcome.

Helpdesk is what people phone to rant and swear at you because their computer/internet/mouse/monitor/anything isn't working. Usually because they forgot to plug the stupid thing in.
Level 1 is who people first talk to.
Level 2 is who they talk to when Level 1 can't fix it.
Level 3 is who they talk to when Level 1 and 2 don't have a clue what's going on. Cheers,
