Expert Agent Selection enable and existing hunt groups

In order to enable VUStats on J179 SIP phones, I need to set the type to J179CC. Understood and got it!!!

-These particular phones we want to replace are 8434D with VUStats buttons that help the users keep tabs on the skill “15” 4 stations consider for the conversion:

I need to enable EAS (Expert Agent Selection) in the system-parameter feature page 11 of 19 in order to use J179CC for a phone type

The MILLION DOLLAR question (or at least me keeping my job) is… If I enable this option, by design, will the hunt groups, queues, or the login process for the users change immediately?

Currently the users use programmer buttons that utilize autodial “XXX0015” XXX – Agent work mode login access code 0015 – hunt group 15

Currently the users use programmer buttons that utilize autodial “YYY0015” YYY – Agent work mode logout access code 0015 – hunt group 15

Currently the users use programmer buttons that utilize auto-in 15 – hunt group 15

Currently the users use programmer buttons that utilize aux-work 15 – hunt group 15

I have not seen ANYWHERE a warning that if I enable EAS on an existing system with existing skills, that the system will blowup, set the world on fire, pass gas, or any other negative affect.

I haven't done this since back in the Definity days but I do remember that the system gives some pretty clear error/instructions when you try to enable EAS on the sys-param form. I believe you'll need to change ACD on all hunt groups to NO before the system will let you enable EAS. After EAS is enabled, you then reenable ACD on the hunt group forms.
