Ok well I have been working on this and have gotten absolutley no where, if any one can help you will be a life saver.

I am trying to import into Exchange 2000 with SP2 a mailbox using the exmerge utility that came with the Resource Kit. I am unable to get the merge to happen though. I am going to paste bellow the actual log message and maybe someone will have seen this before and have a miracle fix. TFCU-Exchange is the Mail server and TFCU2 is a Domain Controler not the Global Controller just a normal Domain Controler.....

Ok but where can I find out the process for doing this???

Under Recipient in Exchange System Manager there are the Recipient Update Services. Inside that is two. Right click and hit rebuild on both. Dan

Ok I tried doing this and still the exact same error message.... Any other ideas ??

Uh... Are you logged in with your account?

Is this Exmerge off the Exchange 2000 CD?

If so this always works if we can access the mailbox from what I've seen. So we can open the same mailbox with Outlook? When we open that mailbox and exmerge we get the same pst name? It might just be that the pst has the wrong name for the user. So export and then you will know what is should be named... Dan

Finally got the merge to take place, was a little trying at times but when it finally kicked off it was great....
Now working on new problem, one more thing though, ONLY mail was moved over is there a way to move the public store as well with all the shared contact and calender events???

Not with Exmerge. Must drag to pst for each folder via Outlook. Its fun :) Dan
