executive access

I have a table with information and when i go to create anything but a query it gives me an error saying "I need executive access to use this function"

I'm using MS Access 2000 Windows 98 and I did create the access database..
 
This may be way off, but it reminds me of a - somewhat- similar message I got when I was trying to modify a replicated db in Acc97. Solution was to start Access, click to "Open Database" and check the "Exclusive" box with the db marked. Just a shot in the dark...
