execute VB application on IE platform

Hello all,

I'm having an application file, believe to be a VB, and I wonder if there is a way for me to make it as a link so when the link is clicked, a new page will be opened with that Java application to execute. Possibly that we can open a fresh empty page embedding the VB.exe in it, can't we?

If it is doable, please show me a way.
