You realize IE is not setup to do this for anyone's protection. To have the Open option rather than save option available, try this:
backup the registry and/or export the following keys:
go to Start>Run, type regedit. Navigate to:
Hkey_Classes_Root\exefile
Change the EditFlags value from d8 07 01 00 to d8 07 00 00
