Executable version problems.

Hi

I've created a Standard *.exe project with 4 built-in ActiveX User Controls. When running from within Design mode the application works fine, but when packaged and installed from as a working application on the same pc or different pc it comes up with "[Adodc] Unknown Error" and closes down.

Can anyone offer some advice

probably need to package it with the mdac_typ.exe file located somewhere like: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\VB98\Wizards\PDWizard\Redist

you might want to update your mdac's while your at it located at:

http://www.microsoft.com/data/

also might look into upgrading/updating the Jet for it to... i think it's up to version 4 service pack 5. IE: jet40sp5 would be a good search..
