Executable report

Hi.

Using CR 9.0, Microsoft Sql server

Is it possible to create some sort of executable report, so that a pdf-report can be generated and opened by clicking an icon from the desktop?

I have a client that means it's way to much hassle to open CR to produce a report...

You can export the report to a PDF.

Or you can use Crystal Enterprise, or one of many 3rd party products:

The other alternative is to write code.

Were you to be on CR 8.X you could create .EXE files.

Several of the developers on Tek-Tips have products that can run Crystal Reports into a viewer, automatically schedule or invoke a report from the command line.
