excluding types of folders with Indexing Service - Windows 2003 IIS 6

Hi,

I've added new catalogs and directories in the Indexing Service for our Intranet site (Windows 2003 Server with IIS 6). When testing search results it's working good, but also including pages from system folders, such as _vti_cnf. The problem is, there are folders like this in each folder and subfolder. Is there any way to exclude all such system folders from searches, without having to add them one by one to the directory list of a catalog?
