I have an Event Action Plan that sends an email when a system is offline. Is there a way to exclude certain servers (i.e. test servers, workstations) so that I only get email about the servers I need to know are offline?

Yes. Only apply the Event Action Plan to the servers you care about. This requires creating an EAP specifically for the email, rather than configuring email for the default EAP. You can do this by dragging & dropping the EAP to the specific server, or better yet, to a static (or dynamic) group you create for the machines you want the events for.

I tried applying the EAP to specific groups but that did not work. I even had Director display the EAP under each server and deleted it from the ones I did not care about. It would still email me on those servers. I am going to try to delete the EAP and re-apply, this time excluding the servers I don't care about. Thanks for the reply.
