Exchange - Volume Shadow Copy

I am using Veritas Backup Exec 9.1 and i purchased the "Advanced Open File Option" to enable volume shadow copies. I want to know is their a process on the server level (exchange box) that i have to follow to enable it to do volume shadow copies? Thank You.

Bascially:
Do i have to do something on the exchange server to enable volume shadow copy?

We tryed to use shadow copy and never had luck with test restores, good luck at it and let us know if you have better luck.
