Exchange Upgrade Question

Hi All. I have an Exchange 5.5 SP4 Org (shared with sister company) that will soon be moving to E2K. We'll need to build up a new Org, so a fresh E2K install is in order. Once that new server is up, is Exmerge my only option for moving mailboxes? I know that the Migration Wizard only works Inter-Forest, so that option is out. Can the ADC help out at all, or is that only within the same site? Lastly, anyone used a third party tool like Aelita's or NetIQ's migrators? Thanks for your thoughts.
