exchange still depends on old DC

Hi,

I installed a second w2k3 dc and transfered all the fsmo roles to it, made it a dns server, however when I power down the old DC the exchange server still looks for it. I want exhange to reference the new DC as the old one needs to be frequenlty rebooted thus knocking everyone out of outlook. Thanks for any assistance.

Make sure the new server is set up to be a Global Catalog, and remove Global Catalog from the other server before taking it offline. Exchange loves GC's.
