Hello,

I am running an Exchange 5.5 server with the most current service pack and Windows NT 4 with service pack 6a. There is a public folder called 'investors' that was being used yesterday when suddenly it just vanished. I have looked on the server itself (Which is a standalone server, no replication) and in the folders area it just isn't there anymore. I have searched the net and Microsoft's knowledgebase but have been unable to find anyone who has had a similar problem. The user swears she didn't delete anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your best bet and fastest solution is to restore the folder from a backup. Also, check your permissions to make sure users, with the exception of the folder owner and the admin, don't have the ability to delete. Users "never" delete anything but it happens.
