I am trying to access my work email at home. We use Exchange Server at work and I need to retrieve my messages without connecting via VPN? Can anyone solve this dilema? Is there a method to bypass a direct connection?

Thanks

Thyezer,

Maybe what you can do is ask your system/e-mail administrator whether they have OWA ( Outlook Web Access )and Internet Mail Service available for user outside your office/work network to access their e-mail.

If they have, maybe they can provide you with appropriate address or url pointing to that exchange server.

For example:
And then you can easily access your e-mail from anywhere using any web browser without the need of setting up VPN.

I am needing to retain my emails to a local PST file. My system administrator does not offer POP3. Is there any way around this? I am wanting my email to come to my OUTLOOK inbox?
