Hello,
I have exchange 2000 installed on my windows 2000 server machine which is a domain controller. the domain is say mydomain.com. It's easy enough for me to set up users and have them automatically assigned an email address such as "tom@mydomain.com". But I'm doing some web hosting and have websites like " Well I'd like to provide email to these folks with their domain as part of the email address, like "john@otherdomain.com".

I can't seem to see how this works in Active Directory, it always gives the default of @mydomain.com . I'm trying to figure out if this is a virtual directory issue or what. I'm pretty lost here and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I do have some understanding of DNS,IIS and MX records which I think will need to be involved in this too.

Thanks in advance for any help

After reading my own post, I think I found some better wording. I want to "host" otherdomain.com's email. I can host their website, and have dns pointing to my server, what do I need to do besides setting up an MX record to get it to host the email? Thanks again.
