1) My exchange email address will automatically change to my Exchange Alias after the Recipient Update Service running. How to prevent the Exchange Alias overwrite my email address?

2)I was unable to create a profile in outlook for my new created exchange user. Error shows, "The name could not be resolved, the name cannot match a name in address list", what's wrong? Please help.

You're mixing up phrases here. The RUS will stamp an SMTP address based on the Recipient Policy which itself gets default information from the "Exchange Alias" field in AD. So, either your Recipient Policy has something before the @ that you don't want or it doesn't say anything at all before the @ and you're getting the default information from the Alias field. If this is the case you change the Alias to the format you want OR!!! you change the recipient policy to say (for example) %g.%s@domain.com which will give you an address of jane.doe@domain.com.

The direction is up to you. Either is fine. There is no right or wrong answer. Sometimes people want an alias of JDoe or JaneDoe or JaneD but want a primary SMTP address of jane.doe@domain.com
