Exchange RPC over HTTP when Exchange is clustered

Looking for good white papers to get this done. From MS site they mention not to make clustered Exchange servers RPC servers but I didn't see a link that said what the other option is. If anyone has a link for some good documentation for inplementing Exchange RPC over HTTP I'd appreciate it.
