Hi,

We have recently re-installed an NT4/Exch 5.5 server within our group and have come up against a problem.

In all sites except the restored one, there are duplicate entries for users in the Global Address List - this means that SMTP messages are getting rejected due to duplicate SMTP addresses (something thats normally impossible to do!). But because the restored site believes there only to be the legitimate entry, it duely replicates these to the rest of the group. Of course we cant delete the entries because we can only remove entries for each site AT each site and not remotely (and like I said, cant see the dupe's AT the restored site)

This is effecting email both in and out of the company. Can anyone please help? We have been working on this one for days, with the only suggestion being about a 40 stage export/import of the list from exchange (came from MS I believe). This simply isn't practical.

Has anyone else experienced/solved this?

Thanks for any help,
Andy.
