Are there any issues with installing Exchange 5.5 onto a PDC. I was told it is best to have it as a stand alone server.

Any comments?

Due to performance Issues, it is best to have your Exchange on a Standalone Server. However, in the event of a complete system disaster, it is easier to restore and bring back the Exchange server, if it is on a PDC or a BDC, due to SID verifications. I would personally install it on a BDC.

If you are planning future migration to W2K/AD, it is better to keep exchange on separate server, I prefer W2K over NT.
